• I contributed to HP’s factory diagnostic process by migrating the UEFI scripts to Python. This involved converting the NSH scripts from the Universal Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) language to Python, which allowed HP to benefit from Python’s readability, flexibility, and portability.
• Additionally, I spearheaded the development of a powerful visualization tool designed to enhance the comprehension of the factory diagnostic process flow. Leveraging the capabilities of ReactJS and Python’s Django framework, this tool enabled developers, TPMs, and other stakeholders to gain comprehensive insights into the various steps involved in the diagnostic process.
• Furthermore, I played a crucial role in the development and maintenance of HP’s factory diagnostic software. My responsibilities encompassed writing and managing the software responsible for testing and troubleshooting HP products and writing the Business Logic. This software was built using C# and C++, both renowned for their ability to provide precise control over hardware, making them optimal choices for creating highly responsive applications.
• In addition to my technical contributions, I provided mentorship and leadership to a team of two individuals for the first project. This involved guiding them through the project’s requirements, facilitating knowledge transfer, and ensuring the successful completion of their assigned tasks.
• Collaborated remotely with teammates from Taiwan, the US, and India to achieve project objectives.
