Keeper Tax (YC W19) Is Hiring a Full-Stack Developer in SF

There are 57M gig workers in the united states (ex: contractors, uber drivers, etc). We believe that every single one of them is overpaying on taxes. We’re building Keeper Tax to solve that problem and we’re looking for our second engineer.

What we look for:

– You have 2+ years React and Node experience. You can point to React and Node apps that you have shipped and that customers are using.

– You are a self starter. You can get stuff done without a significant amount of supervision. You find ways to unblock yourself. You find valuable work to do, and get work done quickly.

– You are a good communicator. If you get blocked, you talk about what you need. If you are frustrated about the code, you talk about what you need to do to fix it.

– You are creative. You are passionate about learning about the customer’s needs and coming up with creative solutions to address those needs.

– You want to join a seed stage startup. This is a high risk/high reward opportunity. We are a small team with a lot of work to do, and that type of environment excites you.

Compensation range:
$100-120K base + 0.5-1% equity

Vathys is building transformative hardware for machine learning based on a radical new architecture that enables both performance and flexibility.

We are hiring a machine learning engineer to build a core part of the machine learning engine for internal projects. This ML engine performs optimization for problems that we have internally such as place and route, compiler scheduling, etc.

A formal background in ML is not required, but a deep understanding of various ML algorithms (e.g. CNNs, backprop, etc.) as well as an excellent software engineering capability is required.

Location: Remote. Anywhere in the world.

Salary is $100K to $200K plus equity, with exceptions for exceptional candidates. This doesn’t really vary with geographic location.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial Director or Manager of Operations to build our operations, customer success and customer support organization as we scale the company. Job Description:
* Work in partnership with the COO to set the overall vision for our Operations team.
* Understand our customers and their goals so that we can consistently exceed their expectations. Champion customer needs internally and within product roadmap.
* Build, manage and coach internal and external support teams.
* Implement new processes and systems to optimize and automate how we interact with and serve our customers. Work with engineering to build supporting features into our products.
* Collaborate with marketing on communications.
* Develop metrics and reporting systems to track performance and progress.

Requirements:
* 4+ years overall Customer Success/Support experience working with business and consumer customers. Ideally, that experience would include hands-on work at a large company known for customer excellence as well as leading a team at a high-growth technology company. Director vs Manager title depends on level of experience.
* Ability and willingness to both lead a team and do front-line work yourself.
* Adept at translating complex business and organization problems into simple solutions utilizing people, processes, and systems.
* Thrive in a fast-growth, dynamic work environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to empathize and connect with your team and customers.
* Fluency in common tech startup technology and customer support tools.
* Bachelor’s degree required. MBA desired.
