John Kerry says people would 'feel better' about the Ukraine war if Russia would reduce emissions

Outgoing Special Presidential Envoy for Climate (SPEC) John Kerry claimed that people would “feel better” about the ongoing war in Ukraine if Russia would “make a greater effort to reduce emissions.” “If Russia wanted to show good faith, they could go out and announce what their reductions are going to be and make a greater … Continue reading John Kerry says people would 'feel better' about the Ukraine war if Russia would reduce emissions

‘The Dukes of Hazzard’ star John Schneider says AI cannot simulate ‘heart’ and ‘soul’

“The Dukes of Hazzard” star John Schneider isn’t afraid of artificial intelligence.

“What AI does not have and what AI cannot simulate is a heart, is a soul. So, I’m not afraid of AI,” he told Fox News Digital.

Schneider gave an analogy, comparing the technology to artificial dairy coffee creamer, to explain why he’s not concerned.

“A lot of people are talking about AI like it’s this terrible, terrible thing that’s coming in. I think it’s powdered cream at best,” he said. “You know, it’s Coffee-mate. It will never be half-and-half. It’ll never even be 2% [milk]. It’s always going to be powdered cow.”

WHAT IS ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI)?

He continued, “Now, it may be good, it may taste good, but it ain’t milk and it ain’t half-and-half. It is not a dairy product. So, I’m not concerned about it. I don’t think anybody should be concerned about it.”

Artificial intelligence loomed large over Hollywood this year, with the technology being a key issue in negotiations during the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes over the summer and fall.

WGA ratified their contract on Sept. 25 and SAG-AFTRA ratified theirs on Dec. 5; both expire in 2026.

Like many other actors and creatives in entertainment, Schneider feels that the human element will never be fully removed from the creative process.

“When the rubber hits the road, great content comes from inspiration, which I think comes when your heart and your soul bump up against each other,” the 63-year-old said. “And that’s not going to happen in AI.”

He added with a laugh, “So there, take that, AI! I’m not worried about you. You Coffee-mate, powder-cow phony!”

Schneider is currently starring in the new family-friendly Christmas comedy “Jingle Smells,” which was executive-produced by FOX News Channel’s Sean Hannity and Logan Sekulow. Released on Nov. 23 on Rumble, the holiday film also stars Eric Roberts, Ben Davies, Brad Stine, Jim Breuer, Victoria Jackson and Dylan Postl.

“People are excited to be able to sit and watch and enjoy a movie with their whole family again,” Schneider said. “Those opportunities really aren’t around anymore.”

He continued, “‘Jingle Smells’ is in fact one of those. And I think it’s going to be around for years and years to come. It’s a very fun movie.”

The actor also recently launched John Schneider’s Revenuer’s Reserve Premium Moonshine, which sold out on the first day of its launch this month.

“We’ve done now two runs of 10,000 bottles. And they’re gone in three weeks,” he said. “That’s 20,000 bottles apparently in three weeks. It’s crazy.”

On this day in history, November 25, 1963, John F. Kennedy is buried in Arlington National Cemetery

Just a handful of days after he was assassinated in an open-car motorcade on the streets of Dallas during a campaign trip throughout Texas, President John F. Kennedy was buried at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia, on this day in history, Nov. 25, 1963.

President Kennedy, as well as two Kennedy infants, are today interred in Lot 45, Section 30, of Arlington National Cemetery, according to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum.

“The permanent graves are located about 20 feet east of the site where the president was temporarily interred on 25 November 1963,” the library’s website also says.

ON THIS DAY IN HISTORY, NOVEMBER 24, THE FIRST COMMERCIALLY SUCCESSFUL BARBED WIRE IS PATENTED

“Each is marked by a simply inscribed gray slate tablet.”

The burial of the slain president, only 46 years old when he was assassinated, followed a somber and nationally televised funeral process.

JFK had not specified where he wanted to be buried, according to History.com.

“Most of his family and friends assumed he would have chosen a plot in his home state of Massachusetts,” the site also notes.

As a veteran of World War II, he “qualified for a plot at Arlington National Cemetery, but he also deserved a special site befitting his presidential status.”

ON THIS DAY IN HISTORY, NOVEMBER 22, 1963, JOHN F. KENNEDY, 35TH PRESIDENT, IS ASSASSINATED

The spring before he died, President Kennedy “made an unscheduled tour of Arlington and … remarked to a friend on the view of the Potomac from the Custis-Lee Mansion, reportedly saying it was ‘so magnificent I could stay forever,'” the same site points out.

After Kennedy was killed on Nov. 22, 1963, the friend who accompanied JFK to Arlington that day “relayed the comment to the president’s brother-in-law, Sargent Shriver, who suggested the site to Jacqueline Kennedy, the president’s widow,” History.com also reports.

“Jackie, who was responsible for the final decision, toured the site on November 24 and agreed. ‘He belongs to the people,’ she said,” the site also notes.

The then-first lady also reportedly asked if workers at the cemetery could erect “some sort of eternal flame at the grave site,” says History.com.

“Cemetery officials scrambled to put together a makeshift Hawaiian torch under a wire dome, covered by dirt and evergreen boughs. The flame was fed by copper tubing from a propane tank situated 300 feet away.”

Then, after the graveside military ceremony on November 25, Jackie Kennedy “lit the first eternal flame and, a few days later, the grave site was enclosed with a white picket fence.”

The next month, in December 1963, “Jackie Kennedy returned to the grave and was photographed kneeling in prayer among a sea of wreaths and bouquets left by recent visitors.”

The eternal flame today “burns from the center of a 5-foot circular flat granite stone located at the head of the president’s grave,” the JFK Library site notes.

“The burner, a specially designed apparatus, which was created by the Institute of Gas Technology of Chicago, consists of a nozzle and electric ignition system.”

The library also notes, “A constantly flashing electric spark near the tip of the nozzle relights the gas if the flame is extinguished by rain, wind or accidents. The fuel is natural gas mixed with proper quantities of air to control the color and shape of the flame.”

The library says as well, “The entire site, with a total area of about 3.2 acres, was set aside by the Secretary of the Army with the approval of the Secretary of Defense to honor the memory of the president.”

It also says, “The land has been retained for the nation as a whole and has not been deeded to the Kennedy family.”

“The area now is appropriately landscaped with new plantings mingled among some of the historic trees.”

“While magnolias predominate, there are crab apple, willow oak, hawthorn, yellow wood, American holly and cherry trees interspersed among flowering plants and shrubs.”

More than three million people visit Arlington National Cemetery each year.

John Fetterman returns to Senate campaign trail after health scare, contest with Mehmet Oz enters final months

Pennsylvania Senate candidate and the state’s Lt. Gov. John Fetterman is heading back to the campaign trail after health troubles sidelined him for more than 90 days.

Fetterman, 52, will host an event Friday evening in Erie County, Pennsylvania where the Democrat is expected to open up about a stroke he suffered in May that threatened his political aspirations as well as his life.

Campaign spokesman Joe Calvello said Fetterman’s return to the campaign trail will start with a few lower-profile events before ramping up his schedule.

“He’ll talk about how blessed he is to be back,” Calvello said. “It’ll be somewhat emotional — a little raw about what he went through, how grateful he is to be campaigning again.”

NEW POLL: DEM JOHN FETTERMAN LEADS MEHMET OZ IN PENNSYLVANIA SENATE RACE DESPITE POOR BIDEN APPROVAL

Fetterman’s recovery is also in question as he previously declined to take prescribed medication. “He’s following the doctor’s orders,” Calvello clarified, saying the Democratic candidate is also adhering to a low-sodium diet and is walking three to five miles per day.

“He’ll miss a word here or there when he’s speaking sometimes, or maybe in a crowded room he’ll miss hearing a word,” the spokesperson said. “Besides that, he’s rock solid.”

DR. MEHMET OZ CLAIMS DEMOCRATIC OPPONENT JOHN FETTERMAN ‘WAS LIVING OFF DADDY’S MONEY UNTIL HE WAS 46′

The return to the campaign trail comes as the Democrat is in one of the most contested senatorial races in the country, against Republican opponent Dr. Mehmet Oz, who has repeatedly drawn attention to Fetterman’s absence from the campaign.

“Have You Seen This Person?” Oz asked in a poster shared online last month. “It has been 90 DAYS since Fetterman’s last public campaign event. Pennsylvanians deserve answers.”

ELECTION SPOTLIGHT: DR. MEHMET OZ AND JOHN FETTERMAN SQUARE OFF OVER BIDEN PERFORMACE, ECONOMY

The Senate’s current 50-50 tie makes each senatorial race important for both parties but the Pennsylvania contest is especially consequential as it will fill the vacancy left by retiring Republican Sen. Pat Toomey.

The contest is already the most expensive senate race in the country and has featured major endorsements including one from former President Donald Trump, who backs Oz.

Fetterman’s absence from the campaign has not severely impacted the lead he holds over Oz in most polls as Fox News and Beacon Research have Fetterman up 11 points.

Other polling data shows a smaller gap between the candidates as Blueprint Polling and Suffolk University have Fetterman up 9 points, Fabrizio Ward has Fetterman up 6, and Cygnal has Fetterman up 4.
