The scale said Esch weighed 303.8 pounds.

“Not too bad.”

Dodgers honor anti-Catholic drag 'nuns' more than an hour before first pitch inside nearly empty stadium

More than an hour before the Dodgers game started on Friday night, there was a strong police presence inside and outside the stadium.

The response from law enforcement came after several weeks of outrage leading up to the team’s 10th annual Pride Night at Dodger Stadium. The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence receive a Community Hero Award well before the first pitch of the game was thrown, and long before most of the fans made it to their seats.

The people who did make it inside the stadium in time to witness the pre-game ceremony seemed to have a mixed reaction to the satirical LGBTQ+. But, some of the attendees appeared to applaud as members of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence waived when they were announced to the small crowd.

“The Dodgers community hero award goes to an organization reaching the LGBTQ+ community, the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, LA chapter,” stadium announcer Todd Leitz said. “Please join us in recognizing the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence for their outstanding service to the LGBTQ+ community.”

THOUSANDS PROTEST SISTERS OF PERPETUAL INDULGENCE OUTSIDE DODGER STADIUM HOURS BEFORE START OF PRIDE NIGHT

Sister Dominia and Sister Unity were on the field to accept the award on behalf of their entire group.

Last month, three-time Cy Young Award winner Clayton Kershaw announced that the team will relaunch its Christian Faith and Family Day. The veteran pitcher said it was in response to the organization’s decision to honor the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.

“I think we were always going to do Christian Faith Day this year, but I think the timing of our announcement was sped up,” Kershaw told the Los Angeles Times on Monday. “Picking a date and doing those different things was part of it as well. Yes, it was in response to the highlighting of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence [by the Dodgers].”

After initially removing the group from its Pride Night event, the Dodgers reinvited the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence and issued an apology.

“After much thoughtful feedback from our diverse communities, honest conversations within the Los Angeles Dodgers organization and generous discussions with the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, the Los Angeles Dodgers would like to offer our sincerest apologies to the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, members of the LGBTQ+ community and their friends and families,” the Dodgers said.

Several hours before the first pitch was thrown at the Los Angeles Dodgers’ Pride Night, a large group of protesters gathered outside the stadium.

Catholics for Catholics, a group based in Phoenix, organized what it described as “a prayerful procession” in a parking lot outside Dodger Stadium.

Fox News’ Larry Fink was on scene several hours before the start of the game and captured video of thousands of protestors outside Dodger Stadium praying and holding flags and signs. Many of the demonstrators also wore red clothing in honor of the sacred heart.

The procession lasted a couple of hours before the protesters made it to Vin Scully Avenue. Around the time the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence were being honored on the field, the group appeared to block one of the entrances to Dodger Stadium.

Over the past couple of years, some athletes have expressed their opposition to the Pride Nights. Several Tampa Bay Rays players declined to wear Pride-themed jerseys, citing their Christian faith.

In May, Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Anthony Bass issued an apology for supporting for anti-LGBTQ+ boycotts of Target and Bud Light.

Jana Kramer says ex-husband cheated with more than 13 women

Jana Kramer said this week that ex-husband Mike Caussin cheated on her with more than 13 women during their nearly six-year marriage.

“That has to be really painful,” “Red Table Talk” co-host Jada Pinkett Smith empathized in a preview clip Tuesday of Wednesday’s Facebook Watch show.

“I know we’re both in better situations,” the country star told the co-hosts through tears, “But I think about this year, my kids won’t wake up at my house Christmas Day. That one’s gonna hurt.”

The couple, who share Jolie, 6, and Jace, 3, divorced last year after marrying in 2015.

JANA KRAMER SPENDS FIRST THANKSGIVING WITHOUT KIDS AFTER DIVORCE: ‘MY HEART HURTS’

She continued, “That’s when I get like, ‘That’s not fair. You took away my dream too of what I wanted for my family. That’s not fair.'”

JANA KRAMER OPENS UP ABOUT EMOTIONAL AND PHYSICAL ABUSE IN PAST RELATIONSHIPS MONTHS AFTER DIVORCE

Last Thanksgiving, she wrote on Instagram, “My heart hurts not being with [her children] today and I have a feeling whether it’s the first holiday apart or the 30th there will always be an ache in the heart.”

A year after they were married, she and Caussin, a former NFL player, separated for a year over infidelity issues and the ex-tight end sought treatment for sex addiction.

“For me, I realized a lot of things throughout my life that sex and sexual acting out was my addictive behavior, and that’s where I went to hide my feelings, to run away from reality and that was my drug,” Caussin said in 2019.

The couple renewed their vows in 2017 and they co-wrote the book “The Good Fight: Wanting to Leave, Choosing to Stay, and the Powerful Practice for Loving Faithfully” in 2020.

In April 2021, Kramer wrote on Instagram, “’It’s time.’ As I try to make sense of a reality that I never wanted to believe could be possible again, those words have now become a reality. I’ve fought y’all. I’ve loved hard. I’ve forgiven. I’ve put the work in. I’ve given everything I have, and now I have nothing else to give. ‘It’s time.'”

She added, “Please know that I still believe wholeheartedly in marriage, love, and rebuilding. I just can’t fight any longer. It’s time to heal. Thank you for all the love, heart, and support, in many ways you have fought on this journey alongside me, and for that I am grateful.”

Gisele Bündchen admits 'concerns' over Tom Brady’s return to NFL, says she wishes he could be ‘more present'

Gisele Bündchen said she wishes her husband Tom Brady could be “more present” in their family’s life while adding that she has concerns about the NFL legend’s return to the sport after prematurely announcing his retirement earlier this year.

“Obviously, I have my concerns – this is a very violent sport, and I have my children and I would like him to be more present,” she told Elle magazine in the October issue.

She agreed with the interviewer that media reports that she’s desperate to have the quarterback retire are sexist – “I think this is the system we’ve been living in. That’s what society has accepted and what society hasn’t accepted – but admitted she’s had “conversations with him over and over again” about his continuing to play at 45 years old.

“But ultimately, I feel that everybody has to make a decision that works for [them]. He needs to follow his joy, too,” she said of her husband who has seven Super Bowl rings.

While she declined to comment on why Brady took 11 days off from an August training camp with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers “to deal with some personal things,” as the Buccaneers head coach said, the quarterback told reporters, “Everyone has different situations they’re dealing with, and we all have unique challenges to our lives. I’m 45 years old, man. There’s a lot of s— going on, so you just have to try and figure out life the best you can. You know, it’s a continuous process.”

Some media outlets had speculated the break meant the two were having marital problems.

In the latest episode of his podcast “Let’s Go! with Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray,” he said, “football and family has always been the most important thing to me.”

The supermodel told Elle it makes her happy to see Brady’s and her children’s success and says she also has plans for herself – she’s especially involved in conservation efforts in her native country of Brazil.

“I’ve done my part, which is [to] be there for [Tom],” she told the magazine. “I moved to Boston, and I focused on creating a cocoon and a loving environment for my children to grow up in and to be there supporting him and his dreams. Seeing my children succeed and become the beautiful little humans that they are, seeing him succeed, and being fulfilled in his career – it makes me happy. At this point in my life, I feel like I’ve done a good job on that. I have a huge list of things that I have to do, that I want to do,” she says. At 42, I feel more connected with my purpose.”

The couple have been married since 2009 and have two children together: Benjamin Rein, 12, and daughter Vivian Lake, 9. Brady also has son Jack Edward, 15, with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan.

Bündchen didn’t attend the Buccaneers season opener against the Dallas Cowboys in Texas on Sunday, but she tweeted her support, writing, “Let’s go @TomBrady ! Let’s go Bucs !” The Buccaneers won 19-3.

Princess Diana's custom Ford Escort sells at auction for more than $850,000

Princess Diana’s custom 1985 Ford Escort RS Turbo Series 1 car sold at auction Saturday for more than $850,000.

Ordered and specifically made for the late Princess of Wales, the black hatchback vehicle was only used for a few years until it was returned to the manufacturer with fewer than 6,800 miles on it.

“The car is believed to be unique as the first and only black RS Turbo Series 1,” according to the Silverstone Auction house.

PRINCESS DIANA’S CUSTOM FORD ESCORT RS HOT HATCHBACK IS BEING AUCTIONED

She owned the two-door vehicle beginning in 1985 while she was married to Prince Charles and was famously seen driving Prince William around town in the back seat.

The Escort was fitted with a regular, five-slat front grille to “assist in the stealth makeover and a secondary rear view mirror for the protection officer with a radio in the glove box.”

PRINCESS DIANA’S 1981 FORD ESCORT AUCTIONED FOR $65,000

The vehicle racked up a few thousand more miles under different owners before being returned to the manufacturer, with a total of 24,961 miles.

The five-speed manual transmission with 130 horsepower made for a fast drive, and was sold for 724,000 pounds.

“Notwithstanding its very special provenance, this Escort RS Turbo Series 1 is an outstanding example in its own right, subject to nut and bolt detailing to a Concours standard,” Silverstone added.

Diana tragically died following a vehicle collision while in Paris, France, with boyfriend Dodi Fayed nearly 25 years ago on Aug. 31, 1997. She was 36 years old at the time of her death.

She was operated on for two hours at La Pitie Salpertiere Hospital, but doctors couldn’t get her heart beating again. She died from the internal bleeding that she sustained from the injuries.

Her full name was Diana Frances Spencer.

She was formerly known as Lady Diana Frances Spencer but upon her marriage to Prince Charles, became Diana, Princess of Wales.

While she was married to Prince Charles from 1981-1996, she gave birth to two sons, Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex.
