Happy Tuesday everybody. So how do you know when you’ve reached peak idiocy? When we now need diversity guidelines for clearing landmines. It seems Canada has just donated $4 million bucks toward an effort to clear landmines in Ukraine. But in a gender-inclusive manner. Because if there’s one thing we can agree on concerning the war in Ukraine, there simply isn’t enough gender-inclusive mine action, right? But let’s be clear upfront. Anyone in charge of clearing landmines is way braver than I am. I can barely clear my driveway. And if it’s something you accept as your job, I don’t care if you’re white, black, gay, trans, or identify as a Cabbage Patch Kid. How did anybody like those dolls? Hideous. Anyway, but it’s not about the dolls. It’s about how DEI insanity has infected everything.
It used to corrupt only the places where useless people were, like academia or media. But now it’s airlines, medical school and war, even landmines. I’m sorry. I’m thinking with landmines, maybe inclusivity shouldn’t be anywhere on the list of priorities. The list should be pretty simple. Competence, patience, steady hands and balls the size of the Las Vegas Sphere. Think of Brian Kilmeade, and then think of someone who’s the opposite. Got to make landmines funny. Speaking of, before we go any further, we wanted to get a comment from a guy who knows his stuff. Johnny Joey Jones, who lost both his legs as a bomb disposal technician. Not a great one. Take it away, Joey.
JOHNNY JOEY JONES:Hey, Greg, just want to let you know you have my full support to make fun of this ridiculous story about gender inclusivity when it comes to taking bombs apart. And just so you know, any gender transformation that happens while taking bombs apart– completely by accident. We didn’t mean for that to happen.
Thank you, Joey. So on Saturday, Justin Trudeau released a list of Canada’s funding for support for Ukraine. Under a section called, “Gender Inclusive Demining for Sustainable Futures in Ukraine,” it explains the $4 million will go to manual clearance and targeted communities, but also, “establishing a gender and diversity working group to promote gender-transformative mine action in Ukraine.” This is insane. So that’s quite a goal: to add onto the burden of saving lives, including your own. You got to think about this. But it turns out DEI is part of their whole program for clearing landmines around the world. They even published a 75-page document on it.
According to the UN Under-Secretary-General for Peace Operations, Jean-Pierre Lacroix, “While these weapons may be indiscriminate, the specific threats and impacts vary according to gender, age, and other aspects of diversity. It is essential that mine action actors are equipped to apply a gender lens as part of a comprehensive and inclusive approach to planning, implementing and monitoring programs to ensure protection for all and to ensure that no one is left behind.” Boom. All right, stop right there, La Croix. I’ve tasted your flavored waters, and I wasn’t impressed. Why is it everyone named Jean-Pierre is full of crap. It’s almost as if Jean Pierre is French for dips***.
But look, it’s safe to say landmine clearing is dangerous. You have to be right 100% of the time. You can’t even be wrong once. It’s the opposite of people at the U.N. who can layer this bulls*** on the backs of brave people every day without any risk. They’re in an office safely churning out this turd sausage while cashing the checks that taxpayers send them. Still, the U.N. thinks an inclusive workforce will increase the effectiveness of mine action activities and improve satisfaction at work. I have no idea how they will test this. Work satisfaction? I would assume there’s one metric- not dying. And if you put diversity before competence, that metric is going to get worse. So DEI has finally reached the mountaintop of risk. And even more, we now include everyone in that risk.
But DEI has the same consequences here as it does everywhere else, whether it’s Harvard or United Air. It has an opportunity cost. Meaning the effort placed in this identity-obsessed lens is an effort that should be placed elsewhere, and the risk for disaster will grow. It’s why it scares us so much that it’s wormed its way into med schools. You have students learning more about pronouns than the pancreas. More about trans than transplants. But especially in the arena of clearing landmines, every little bit of idiocy you introduce matters. Of course landmines blowing up all sorts of people. Yeah, that’s true, but does that mean they have to be cleared by all sorts of people? Not really.
DEI efforts have a mathematical roadblock. If you choose to fish from a small pond of applicants, you end up running out of qualified fish faster. So you need to fish from the lake, not the pond. Look, does anybody really believe Wokeism will make for better landmine clearing? We’re talking about defusing deadly explosives here, not getting misgendered in an office breakroom. You think using the right pronouns at work is a minefield? This is an actual f*** minefield, people. Who benefits from this? Not the people who need landmines cleared.
They just want the best people to save them. And the LGBT community? Tell them the bomb squad needs trans women. Hell, Lia Thomas would suddenly grow a mustache and douse himself in Old Spice. He’d be pretty attractive too. But clearing landmines is just the latest human endeavor to be infected with diversity, equity and inclusion. Landmines are serious business, but the people making the rules apparently are not serious people. That’s leftism for you.
Human life is less important than their woke agenda. So what if a few people lose a limb or two to meet a quota? It’s worth it to tell yourself you’re being inclusive. In this case, DEI might mean you die.

Colorado Gov. Jared Polis faced criticism from two district attorneys in the state – a Democrat and a Republican – who said his steep commutation of a truck driver convicted in a crash that led to four deaths before a judge weighed in could set a “troubling precedent,” according to reports.
One of the inevitable side effects of having a fleet of vehicles is they do nothing for you if they’re idle. In fact, you lose money on them, as you need to pay for parking. Plus, of course, they’re depreciating every single day. Turo is a company that can help you turn idle vehicles into cash cows – no magic wand necessary.
But first, you need to get the vehicles – and here’s how you do ALL that.
Building Your Commercial Fleet While You Build Your Business and Its Credit
Your business doesn’t start off with good business credit already built. In much the same way, you probably didn’t start with any vehicles. Or, at least, not with business vehicles you wanted to keep. And even if you bought your business fully created, you can still build it to greater heights. For all three goals, it pays to work in an orderly fashion. Step by step, it all works together.
Building business credit means getting vendor accounts. Starting with vendor credit accounts is a proven way to start building business credit. But we don’t include vendors just because they report to the business CRAs. We include them because they have quality products you can use, and great customer service. They are more than a means to an end!
Building Business Credit the Right Way
Let’s start with building business credit. You can’t start with high limits. First build starter trade lines that report (vendor credit). Then you’ll have an established credit profile. Then you’ll get a business credit score. With an established business credit profile and score you can start getting high credit limits.
Use your credit. Pay on time, like you should with personal credit. These vendors we’ll show you will report to the business CRAs. And you’ll build a good business credit score.
But Wait: What is Starter Vendor Credit?
These trade lines are creditors who will give you initial credit when you have none now. These vendors often offer terms such as Net 30, instead of revolving. So if you get an approval for $1,000 in vendor credit and use it all, you must pay the money back in a set term. Such as, within 30 days on a Net 30 account. But there are some revolving accounts still considered to be starter vendors.
Vendor Credit Accounts
You must pay net 30 accounts in full within 30 days. And you must pay net 60 accounts in full within 60 days. Unlike with revolving accounts, you have a set time when you must pay back what you borrowed or the credit you used.
To start your business credit profile the RIGHT way, you need approval for vendor accounts that report to the business CRAs. Once that’s done, you can then use the credit, pay back what you used. Then the account is on report to Dun & Bradstreet, Experian, or Equifax, or some combination.
Once it reports, then you have trade lines, an established credit profile, and an established credit score. With an established business credit profile and score, you can then get approval for more credit under your EIN. For vendor credit, you can usually leave your SSN off the application. Because this credit isn’t offered through a bank. Then the credit issuer pulls your EIN credit, sees a solid profile and score, and as a result can approve you for more credit. Keep in mind, credit through a bank will demand your SSN. It’s an anti-money laundering requirement under federal law.
Vendor Credit Cards
Vendor credit cards will kick off business credit building for your business. Once you’ve added payment experiences from three vendors, and they have sent reports to business CRAs like Dun & Bradstreet, you can start qualifying for fleet credit. Make sure business credit cards don’t report on your personal credit.
Every step and every credit provider is designed to help your business. It’s meant to help you qualify for business credit cards you will actually use. This isn’t building for the sake of building, and it isn’t just to increase a number. These credit providers are going to have what your business needs to succeed.
Business Credit
Keep in mind, business credit is independent of personal. Applying for it often won’t harm your personal credit scores, although it can if you offer a PG and then fail to pay. An inquiry will also impact personal credit. Too many inquires can hurt your ability to get an approval. Building this asset can only help your business. You can help your future business right now.
Vendor Credit Benefits
You need 3 or more vendor accounts reporting to move onto more credit with higher limits and better terms. More reporting accounts are even better. It will take 30-90 days for those accounts to report – 60 days on average. Do NOT apply for tier 2 credit without having 3 or more accounts first.
Getting a Vendor to Pull Credit Under your EIN
There is no Social Security requirement for starter vendor credit. This is unlike bank loans and bank cards. So leave the field blank. Don’t fill in any other number. It’s a violation of two Federal laws.
A blank field will force them to pull your business credit under your EIN. But note: some creditors will still want an SSN for verification purposes. You should present your SSN in this situation. But make sure you aren’t agreeing a PG or personal credit check.
Building Business Credit – What You Really Need to Know
You won’t get a Visa or a MasterCard (bank credit cards) right away. You need to have credit to get more credit. Start building trade lines to get the big payoff. Getting initial credit is the hardest part. The vast majority of trade vendors who issue credit don’t report it to the business CRAs. So, you MUST find sources which actually report.
Using Business Credit Vendors
Check out three of our favorite starter vendors:

D-U-N-S number from Dun & Bradstreet
Your business license (if applicable)
A business bank account

Your SSN is necessary for informational purposes. If concerned they will pull your personal credit talk to their credit department before applying. You can give a $500 deposit instead of using a personal guarantee. if you’ve been in business less than a year. Apply online or over the phone. Terms are Net 15. You can used this card at any P66, 76, or Conoco fueling location. Let’s move onto fleet credit.
Fleet credit comes after starter vendors. It comes from places like Gulf and Exxon. You use it to:
Buy fuel
Maintain vehicles of all sorts
Repair vehicles
Even businesses which don’t have big fleets can still benefit. These are usually gas credit cards.
You may need to have a minimal time in business. If your business doesn’t have enough time in business, you may be able to instead offer a personal guarantee or give a deposit to secure the credit. Now that you’ve got a bunch of cards to support your fleet, it’s time to look at vehicle financing to buy the fleet!
Vehicle Financing
Chances are you didn’t buy personal vehicles outright. In the same way, financing is a great way to get a vehicle now, without having to wait until you can pay cash and drive it off the lot. With a fleet car, your choices are usually buying or leasing. Providers include banks like Bank of America or the financing arm of the manufacturer, like Chrysler Capital.
Using Business Credit for Vehicle Financing
You can even finance a vehicle purchase or lease through our Business Credit Builder. These offers are in Tier 4. So they have certain requirements that business credit neophytes won’t be able to meet. Lenders will want to see you have the income to support the purchase. Consider Ford Commercial Vehicle Financing.
Ford Commercial Vehicle Financing Through Credit Suite
Ford offers several commercial vehicle financing options. These include loans, lines, and leases to actual business entities. This is not for sole proprietorships. You can get a loan or a lease.
Ford may ask for a personal guarantee if you do not get an approval on the merit of your application. Apply at the dealership. Ford will report to D&B, Experian, and Equifax.
To qualify, you need:
Entity in good standing with Secretary of State
EIN number with IRS
Business address- matching everywhere
D-U-N-S number
Business license (if applicable)
And a business bank account
Strong business credit history
Must have a good Experian business credit score
Ally Car Financing Through Credit Suite
Ally provides personal financing. But they will also report to business credit bureaus. If your business qualifies for financing without the owner’s guarantee, you can get financing in the business name only. Ally will report to D&B, Experian, and Equifax.
Ally Car Financing: Ally Commercial Line of Credit
To qualify, you need:
Entity in good standing with Secretary of State
EIN number with IRS
Business address- matching everywhere
D-U-N-S number
Business license (if applicable)
And a business bank account
Bank reference
Fleet financing references
If you use a PG, Ally will not report to the personal credit bureaus unless the account defaults.
Ally Car Financing: Ally Commercial Vehicle Financing
Get a lease or a loan. To qualify, you need the same things as you need for an Ally Commercial Line of Credit. This is except for a bank reference and fleet financing references. There is no time in business requirement. Apply in person only. The dealer will say if you get approval or must provide a PG. Now that you’ve got the cars and the cards, let’s explore Turo.
Turo is a peer-to-peer car sharing marketplace. You can book any car you want, wherever you want it, from a community of trusted hosts across the US, Canada, and the UK. Guests choose from a unique selection of nearby cars. Hosts earn extra cash to offset the costs of car ownership.
How Do Turo, Business Credit, and Business Ownership Work Together?
There are going to be times when some of the vehicles your fleet aren’t in use. This could happen if there’s a personnel change, or if an employee with an older vehicle gets an upgrade to a newer one. This could be a perk accompanying a promotion. Or an employee with a vehicle could be out for parental leave. But no matter how or why any vehicles are idle. you can be making money from them.
Turning the Idle Vehicles in Your Fleet into Moneymakers
Turo says you can make an average of $620 per month per vehicle. This comes from 2019 stats for hosts with twelve or more trips and “at least average quality metrics”. You can set your own price and availability dates. Make 70% of the price, or 80% if you can prove you have your own insurance and waive Turo’s coverage. Turo offers an array of coverage options with different percentages and deductibles. So you can choose what appeals most to you. Liability insurance comes from a policy issued to Turo by Liberty Surplus Insurance Corporation. They’re a member of the Liberty Mutual Group.
Bringing Out the Best in Your Vehicles to Make the Most Money
There are ways to make more money and get your vehicle out there to more riders, more often. Turo offers tips on taking better photographs of your car and listing your car’s options. as riders may be searching for things like all-wheel drive or air conditioning, etc.
Working with Turo
Turo will provide guidance on how to write better descriptions, and otherwise make a vehicle more appealing to riders. There is even a section on writing a business plan. Also – earnings go through Turo so you will get a 1099. And even making a few hundred per month per vehicle is a VAST improvement over letting a vehicle idle while you pay for parking and it depreciates! To end, let’s touch on personal guarantees for financing.
Vehicle Financing
With commercial vehicle financing, business owners may need to personally guarantee vehicle loans. If you are a co-borrower the loan will most likely report to your personal credit report. Starting off by giving a personal guarantee means you can get money, and start building your commercial fleet now instead of later.
PG (Personal Guarantee) Financing
According to Investopedia, a personal guarantee is:
“an individual’s legal promise to repay credit issued to a business for which they serve as an executive or partner. Providing a personal guarantee means that if the business becomes unable to repay the debt, the individual assumes personal responsibility for the balance. Personal guarantees provide an extra level of protection to credit issuers who want to make sure they will be repaid.”
When you provide a PG, you are adding your Social Security number to the application. You should expect a hard inquiry. You’re also adding the details of your personal income to the application.
No PG Financing
With no PG financing, you can get higher limits and better terms. Continue to build exceptional business credit and pay your bills on time. In general, the following you won’t need to provide a personal guarantee for this type of financing if you have:
good business credit
a decent amount of time in business or
good personal credit
Much like with any other kind of business borrowing, the more assurances you can give the lender, the better.
Turo, Business Credit, and Growing Your Business: Takeaways
Use business credit to buy everything you need to run a fleet, from fuel to service. And use auto financing to buy the vehicles. Plus, you can make money with the idle vehicles in your fleet! Turn your fleet into a regular, reliable moneymaker – without having to pull any rabbits out of your hat. Let’s get together and talk about getting started.
If you know me, you know I love Instagram. Why? Because it is one of the only social networks left that is truly “personable” and the engagement is still decent because of it.
But just like any social network, it requires a lot of time and work.
Here’s the thing though, by automating your Instagram, you can deliver great content, and also spend less time doing it.
Over the last three of four months, I have been using a few of the features in MobileMonkey (you can do it with a free account) to automate my Instagram marketing and the results have been great.
This adds up to 132 percent more engagement–without doing any extra work past the initial setup.
What’s crazy is a lot of marketers don’t know how to automate their Instagram marketing beyond scheduling a few posts… which isn’t really much automation at all.
Now I did schedule posts, which does help, and I will talk about that in a bit, but it was the story automation mentions which really drove good results (I will go over that as well).
So let’s dive into how I automated my Instagram marketing and how you can too…
Strategy #1: Get More Shares With Story Mention Automations
Imagine you’re getting story mentions. Wouldn’t it be awesome if you could respond to them in masses without the manual labor of replying one by one?
And best of all, by responding to them (automatically and personalized), you will build a connection and it will cause you to get more story mentions which will grow your account faster.
Log in to your Mobile Money account and click on “Chatbot” and then “Chat starters” on the top bar.
Click “Instagram story mentions” in the left bar and choose “Create Instagram story mention.”
Choose “Instagram story mention” in the drop down to create a new, automated response. Thank them for mentioning you in their story, or link to a website you think they could enjoy reading. You can also add widgets like images, forms, SMS opt-ins or attachments.
Choose what your automated response will be depending if the user replies with text message, email, phone number or multiple responses (like yes or no).
Preview and send!
Strategy #2: Schedule Posts in Advance
A lot of people don’t realize it’s possible to schedule posts for Instagram in advance.
That’s because the post scheduler feature was banned for years. Now it’s hidden inside Instagram Creator Studio.
As Instagram puts it: “The Creator Account on Instagram gives you a set of tools that makes it easier to control your online presence, understand your growth and manage your messages.”
I love it because batch-scheduling posts for Instagram saves me so much time.
Creator Studio comes with:
Professional Dashboard: See your content performance and see educational content shared by Instagram.
Growth insights: Tools to help you understand what content you’re posting is growing your audience.
Advanced post scheduling: Fill up your content calendar in advance by scheduling posts for Instagram Feed and Instagram TV.
Creator Studio even has a calendar view so you can see all the content published and scheduled to publish, which is awesome for social media teams.
Once you use the Creator Studio Instagram post scheduler, you’ll never go back to the old way of posting one post at a time.
Strategy #3: Automate Direct Messaging Responses
As you build your Instagram audience, you’re likely to see more direct messages. On one hand, that’s great because people want to talk to you. On the other hand, DMs can easily take up hours of your time, but with automation, you can cut down that time drastically.
Most people I know tend to just ignore the DMs but you shouldn’t do that. Seventy-five percent of consumers want to talk to brands via private messaging. Hence you ideally should try and respond when you can.
Line up automated welcome messages to new followers
Send automated replies to Instagram DMs based on keyword triggers
Create automated FAQ answers in DMs
Automated Direct Messaging (ADM) can be used for various purposes such as customer service, account management, and marketing campaigns.
The key with automated DMs is it needs to be triggered based on keywords. You don’t want to send out generic DMs to everyone or else it will look like spam and won’t be effective. This absolutely changes the way you add calls to action to Instagram post comments.
For example, I would make a post on Instagram and tell people to leave a comment with a specific phrase or word if they wanted a free ebook. This helped me get more engagement, build a bigger audience and best of all generate leads for my ad agency.
Log in to your MobileMonkey account and click on “Chatbot” and then “Chat starters” on the top bar.
Click on “Instagram Welcomer” on the left bar and then create a new one.
Choose what message you want people to automatically receive when they DM you on Instagram. You can also add widgets like images, forms, sms opt-ins or attachments. Here’s one I created:
Preview and send.
Strategy #4: Drip Campaigns in Instagram
You’ve heard of email drip campaigns, but did you know you can do it on Instagram, too?
You can use the Instagram drip campaign feature that takes the standard automated DM response to the next level.
Rather than just sending one DM, you can send several links to your blog or other channels over the course of several days.
For example, you can:
Respond to their first message with educational content related to their message.
Send social proof a few days later, such as a case study or short review.
Once you’ve caught their attention, ask them to sign up for your email list or send a free trial or tool.
Here are a few other ways to use Instagram drip campaigns:
Kick off lead nurturing campaigns.
Send onboarding messages with educational messages to engage followers.
Ask questions for list segmentation and retargeting.
Send upsell campaigns.
Send instant welcome messages to your new followers.
Here’s how you set up the Instagram drip campaign:
Click on “Campaigns” in the top bar and “Drip Campaigns” in the left bar.
Create a new Drip Campaign.
Specify the social media platform.
Choose the audience(s) that should be sent the campaign. You can include or exclude your audiences.
Choose a schedule during which your drip campaign messages will be sent. Then choose how long before the first message goes out. You can choose minutes, hours, days, weeks and months.
Create a dialogue and add as many follow up messages as you want up to 23 hours. If a user responds to any of your messages, the 24 hour clock starts over.
Strategy #5: Automate Comment Replies
Do you know what the best way to go viral on Instagram is?
It’s actually similar for most social networks…
It’s not about likes or shares, it’s actually comments.
Anyone can like or share a post, but it takes a while for someone to leave a thoughtful comment and social networks know that. Hence the more comments you get the more views your content typically gets.
And the best way to encourage more comments is to reply to your comments.
Best of all you can do this in an automated way that is “personalized”.
Instagram Guides are a relatively new Instagram feature designed to help users easily find recommendations, tips, and other content from their favorite Instagram accounts.
Originally only for specific types of accounts, it was later expanded to allow all users to use it from anywhere.
There are three main types of Guides: posts, places, and products, and they’re also shareable in stories, helping to give your content further reach.
While it’s not automation in the same sense as scheduling posts out in advance, Instagram Guides are advantageous to marketers for many reasons.
First, the feature is ideal for those with a limited marketing budget. Guides is a free tool, and Instagram helps you design your brand pages and then guides you through content promotion.
Secondly, the curation style of Guides makes it an excellent format to automatically share informational content in an engaging way. You can then use the content to educate new customers and followers about what you do and how your products apply to their lifestyles.
Third, it’s a bit of a set it and forget it feature. You can create tons of great content, and it’s just sitting there waiting for users to engage.
For example, here’s an Instagram Guide I posted at the beginning of last year:
It lives on my NP Digital Instagram page and is easily discoverable by users.
Finally, Instagram Guides give you flexibility regarding the types of formats. For instance, you can write articles and turn them into slideshows with images and videos from tutorials.
Or, you could create videos that walk viewers through task completion.
Strategy #7: Integrate With TikTok
Cross promoting on social media gets your content out in front of a wider audience, attracts more leads, increases brand awareness, and gets you more mileage from your content.
Instagram and TikTok integrate well, and you can connect your accounts with just a few steps.
To connect them, just:
Go to TikTok and select “edit profile.”
Select “Instagram” and enter your user name.
Click connect.
You’re done!
Now all you need to do is start sharing some content. Here are a couple of ideas to get you started.
Begin your story on TikTok and finish it up on Instagram or vice versa. What better way to get in front of two audiences?
This works well with decorating projects, makeovers, recipes, product testing. Anything where you have a starting place and a result.
A further benefit is you’re not sharing the same content, so you avoid duplication.
You could also repost your Instagram Reels on TikTok, but remember to stick to both platforms’ guidelines and remove watermarks from your TikTok content.
Whichever approach you take, keep your two audiences in mind, and ensure your content is right for both platforms.

There are several ways to find out what Instagram automation tools are best for you. One way is to check the comments on the company’s website and see if they generate any helpful feedback.
Another way is to check the customer reviews on their website – see what others have said about their experience with these tools, good or bad.
Finally, if the company’s offering a free trial, that’s an excellent way to test out the functions and see how a specific Instagram automation tool meets your needs.

Instagram Automation Conclusion
Instagram automation is going to make your life easier.
There are only so many hours in the day, and while being on social media sites like Instagram is essential to brand growth, it’s time-consuming and can take you away from other tasks like outreach and developing content.
With Instagram automation, you can manage the back-end and front-end tasks associated with running a social media account without employing a dedicated manager or virtual assistant to handle these tasks for you.
Additionally, by integrating Instagram automation into your routine, you’re more productive and you can build stronger community links while developing customer loyalty.
